Water, Hygiene and Sanitation

In pursuit of millennium Development Goal 7. YCDO, intends to provide for the local communities, convenient and reliable supply of clean water plus proper sanitation which will produce dramatic improvements in health and nutrition and relieve women and girls from back breaking daily treks to distant water points and also reduce the conflicts that have always emanated due to competition for the few water points for the animals. Therefore ,YCDO intends to mobilize funds and resources so as to set up safe water supply systems backed by sustainable operations and maintenance procedures in cooperation with communities, local authorities and counterpart institutions.
